Per request - posting this one. This is a bit assholish attempt on my part to re-create god-awful cover for the 1st ST Academy novel, so it would look palatable and not like badly traced vexel (the novel is like 50k bad fanfiction, so in the end I think it deserves bad cover). In markers, because I was high on them back then, in Moleskine sketchbook, because their paper is just awesome for markers.

Funny thing is that yesterday at the con I had that notebook with me (in which I have few other arts like that) and people seriously thought that I painted this on computer and then printed a book - nobody asked themselves why would I go through the trouble of producing bleed-through image on the other side of paper XD (there were also few people who wanted to buy it and one who tried to steal it -silly.)
